Weep Weep :::(

so sad.. i received my results already.. i fail one paper by 1 mark.. y can't the examiner b more lenient and let me pass... haiz... so sad... i thinking of appealing.. hopefully they will sympatize me n give me tat precious 1 mark... :<

so worried now... keep checking my email for my results.. today is the release of my ACCA result but till now i still haven recieve the mail.. so worried... wonder if i can make it.. but think most likely is gone case coz how to pass when u never study hard enough... haiz.. too late to say anything already... i promise to work hard for the rest of the paper.. :(

Sweet Yam with Ginko Nut & Pumpkin

Yam (peeled & sliced) 800g
Water Chestnut (peeled & chopped) 40g
Pumpkin (peeled & sliced) 1 can
Fine Sugar 240g
Shallot (peeled & sliced into thin rings)16g
Peanut Oil 80g
Water 160g
Cornstarch 8g

1. Steam the sliced Pumpkin until soft.
2. Boiled water in a pot and add sugar, leave it to cool after the sugar melt
3. Leave the steamed pumpkin to soak overnight in the pot of syrup.
4. Steam the sliced yam and mash it while still warm.
5. Heat the oil and fry sliced shallots until they are brown to flavour the oil, set the shallots aside.
6. Fry the mashed yam in the peanut oil over low heat, stir continuously until it becomes a paste. (Hot Tip: Continuous stir-frying is necessary to prevent burning)
7. Add in the fried shallots and continue to fry until paste is smooth and gleaming.
8. Heat another pot of water, add water chestnut and sugar. Bring to boil, pour in cornstarch mixture and stir until the syrup thickens.
9. Pour the pumpkin, followed by the water chestnut mixture over the yam paste. Add gingko nuts and the dish is ready to serve.


so tired today... everyday need to wake up at 7.30am then go to wk... so sick of this routine... haiz... how i wish times will stop... haha...
