22nd May 2013 - Parents Day at Jayden School

going to Jayden school today to see the teachers.. its their parents day today and our 1st meet the teacher session with this school.. hubby took half day off in the morning to go with me.. am glad that hubby is concerned with his kid progress too.. the event is from 8am to 11am and when we arrive we are given a number tag to wait for our turn.. we brought jayden for breakfast at mac before going to his school.. we waited for 15mins for the Chinese teacher then another 45mins for the English teacher.. Jayden's Chinese teacher 罗老师 says Jayden is a smart boy but lack of concentration at times.. she needs to pull him back to class sometimes and she says jayden sometimes sit like he has no bones.. haha... n she says Jayden is quick tempered.. get angry sometimes.. and we agree to help change his this bad habit together.. both in school and at home...
Jayden's English Teacher, teacher Jean commented that Jayden is one of the top 3 students in her class.. he can reads on his own.. he can recognise many words and can do basic additions on his own.. and can spell quite a lot of words + he is proficient in his phonics already.. thus sometimes when she is teaching phonics or reading story book to the class, Jayden will show the impatient face and not willing to listen and will wonder off to the mini library in class to read on his own.. like the Chinese teacher, she also commented that the only bad point about Jayden is his temper.. she strongly feel we have to work together to change his this no good attitude... haiz.. how sld I go about changing his this habit??

thru this parents day, I realise how kiasu parents are nowadays.. the question that most parents are "how is my kid as compared to his classmates?".. y compare.. haiz... and some parents are so defensive, when the teachers feedback negative stuffs about the kids, they will argue back and say their kids are not like tat at home, etc.. and its the father doing most of the talking.. hehe...
pics below are some of the handicrafts they did in school...
