ever since jayden is born.. me n darling seldom go dating.. my mum is so nice.. she ask us to go dating more often when she is here with us.. hehe.. n so today we decide to go out for dinner on our own at a Japanese Resturant Shin Yuu at Greenwood Ave. I got this from www.hungrygowhere.com website.. review has said that the food is nice n the sashimi is fresh.. It serves AlaCarte Japanese food and we feel the food is very nice thou its ard $60 per person.. overall exp of the restuarant is the food is nice n sashimi is sweet n fresh.. according to the manager.. they have 3 private rooms but must call to make advance booking.. we intend to jio keong, MH, si gim, si gu, dy, wei n steph next time too hehe..

time to go home.. we have to wake up early for last min packing and to wait for our transport to pick us to Incheon Airport at 1pm.. sunha is meeting us at airport to send us off..

my luggage.. i came with 1 large luggage n 1 handcarry but leaving with 1 big luggage, 1 small luggage and 1 handcarry..

the guys came back very late yesterday and are still sleeping, we get ready and go for our last min shopping at 东大门 coz we are going back tomolo afternoon and at night we are meeting Sunha and her friends for dinner and clubbing..

so the 3 of us have lunch at this cafe

we went back to change and meet Sunha in the evening, she got us this cute teddy bear pancake

cannot rem the name of the street but its a university area and its one of their hottest place for clubbing, we had bbq dinner and its so nice and till today i am missing it..

we went KTV with her.. they oso have eng and mandarin songs.. their KTV is 1 hour and the room is quite nice

after that we went clubbing

we went to 明洞 to shop and we have our lunch there..

the cake display along the street are so tempting

in 明洞, face product shop like skin food, faceshop, etude house etc, will have sales person outside the shop promoting their shop and to get customers into the shop

in the evening, we meet Hoyu's mum, a korean fren of laikong for dinner.. she took us to this posh jap restaurant and the food is yummy

the sashimi is so fresh and sweet

after dinner, the 3 girls are meeting Sunha to go to a wholesale shopping centre in 东大门 and the guys are going for drinks.. this is the night view of 东大门

Sunha says it will be very crowded there and so she ask us to put on mask to protect ourselves.. my 1st time to shop wearing mask and its so uncomfortable

28th Oct 2009 - Korea Day 7 - F&E

the other 5 tour members are taking the afternoon flight back to sin while the 6 of us are extending our stay to 31st Oct.. so in the morning we are to check out with them then to take our own transport to Hyundai Residence, an apartment that Kathy has booked online.. we wanted to leave our luggage with the hotel 1st before going to the apartment as we wanted to visit a temple that's nearby but at the very last min, we decide to juz walk ard to have breakfast and to wait for the transport that we have arranged to pick us up at 1pm..

we have our breakfast at a cafe and the cakes, breads and pastries are so nice and attractive

its still early after breakfast and we shop awhile at Uniqlo

this is the apartment that we are staying during our extension in seoul

the apartment is quite huge with a single sized bed, a queen sized bed and a sofa bed.. best of all its near 东大门, a shopping district in Seoul and its near subway

after unloading our luggages, time to go out and explore.. the guys are going to meet a korean fren that they have known when the 2 of them, sisters came to Singapore for holiday.. so the 3 of us go shopping at 东大门 then meet them at a time somewhere there..

that korean fren of theirs, Sunha is so friendly, she closes her fashion stall early so that she can bring us round.. look at the subway line.. super messy and complicated

she brings us to an area which i cannot rem the name of the street..

we are meeting Sunha's sis, mingshan for dinner and since its still early, she took us to this restaurant for korea pancake..

we meeting her sis at this restaurant that sells this, i cannot rem the name but this dish is very yummy and spicy.. shiok to have that esp when the weather is quite cold

when you are about to finish, the staff will take rice in and mix in the sauce for you..thou full but still its yummy this way..

next Sunha brings us go shopping and the guys went drinking with mingshan, we meet them after shopping for a drink before going back to rest

we are supposed to take the hot air balloon but the wind is too big and is not safe to go on the hot air balloon and so we change it go kart.. super fun..

after u've finished, you can see if u wan to have a "license", of coz its payable hehe...

An exciting day starts with Seongsan Sunrise Peak, named a UNESCO World Natural Heritage. You can climb to reach the top which is great for watching sunrise. Thereafter, explore Jeju Folk Village, a folk and history museum with miniature displays of traditional villages. next we went to play ATV, initially i was very scare coz its not easy to operate n 1 of our tour members bumped into the bush.. lucky its not 1 of the 6 of us coz the impact of her crash is quite jia lat.. but glad she is fine.. juz a small scratch..

this is the horse that i ride.. he's so naughty.. he gollap out of the path n bring me onto the grass n down a slope at a quite fast speed.. the trainer has to come n instruct him to go back to the path.. when he is back to the path, he wanna be 1st in place n whenever another horse gollap past him, he will go very fast... quite scary but fun.. i wanna have a try again.. hehe

the night is still young n so we asked the hotel loobby wat kind of night life is there in jeju and he recommends us to a pub in jeju n they have transport to n fro from the hotel to the pub, so we went but we left 30mins later.. the disco is quite big but the crowd n music is not our cup of tea.. the music is korea songs and the crowd, mostly our mummies n daddies age..

Upon arrival, start your sightseeing tour at Gyeongbok Palace, the largest and most beautiful among all palaces in Korea, was erected as the main palace of the new Joseon Dynasty in 1395 by Lee Seong-gye, King Taejo. Continue to the Royal Pass, where you will have a panoramic view of Seoul City, including 63 Building and N Seoul Tower with the use of telescope. Thereafter, go for a shopping spree at Dongdaemun before transfer to the airport for your flight to Jeju Island.

finally we settle down in this restuarant and here's my order of the spicy seafood ramen.. super shiok in the cold weather.. hot and spicy.. yummy yummy

Earthquake in Singapore??

I was watching the tv at around 6plus when i feel giddy.. juz like when i get motion sickness when i travel on sea.. i thought what happen? am i not feeling well then i turn and ask my mum if she feels anything but she says no.. then the bamboo stand for hanging our clothes on the balcony starts shaking a little that we realise it could be an earthquake.. i quickly hug jayden juz in case it gets worse n we have to evacuate.. hehe.. this is not the 1st time i experience earthquake in sin but today is very obvious feeling n it lasts longer.. a bit scary..

True enough, Indonesia has earthquake and many areas in Sin, many can feel the earthquake too..

Dinner is at Orchird Country Club and becoz we are the host and we have to be there early for the recep.. we ask Vivian & Limin to come at 4pm to help us with our makeup & hairdo.. i am super satisfied with my makeup & hairdo.. many commented that I look good that day.. wahaha

holiday always end fast.. we are going back later.. our flight is at 6pm.. anita is so nice.. she purposely come all the way from home to pick us up at hotel and bring us on a ride on their bus..

after a walk upslope to the hotspring source, we meet up with anita and xiao xie, our supplier from taiwan.. its very sweet of them to bring us around today.. meihui wan to go to the flower show at Yang Ming Shan and so anita suggests we have lunch at yang ming shan.. along the way we pass by this uni and meihui was telling us.. after she graduate from sec sch in msia, she actually has plan to come to taipei to further her studies in this uni but objected by her parents and so she ended up working in Sin and met keong and is happily married now.. hehe..

this foodcourt offers food from many parts of the world.. there's a store there that had the signboard.. Singapore Food...

to go up, you have to purchase tickets from the counter and then take the world fastest lift to go up to the 89th floor... its no joke... its really fast..

within seconds.. taipei is underneath our feet

there is an outdoor observery area and its a bit scary when i look down

how i wish i can shout from the top to my darling.. Lao Gong.. I love You

next, we took the MRT to wu fen pu shopping district.. o my its huge with many shops and we nvr finish shopping tat day as we are meeting one of our supplier at 6pm at our hotel lobby...

our 2nd day in taipei and for the package we took, it comes with a free 1 day tour.. the coach n tour guide pick us up at the hotel early in the morning at 8am...

this is the hotel that we stay, i don really like this hotel.. the nearest MRT station is zhongshan station and to go xi meng ding n many places, we have to take the train to taipei station to change to the blue line and the walk from the red line to the blue line is long.. furthermore, the room is small and not nice at all.. hehe.. i willl still prefer to stay in hotel in xi meng ding area.. but too bad, rooms at xi meng ding are fully booked and we have no choice...

our 1st day in taipei.. we took the afternoon flight to taipei and its already 6plus when we reach the hotel.. we left our luggage in the room and took the MRT to xi meng ding..

we had dinner at melt cafe in Mandarin Oriental.. this is recommended by 永远吃不肥Buffet Buffet.. Si gu, si gim, keong n MH tried 2 weeks ago and say its very good.. we din go the 1st time coz darling got drug allergy n so we decide to give it a miss but this time we decide to go with them again.. since the verdict is so good.. hehe..

for month of nov for credit cards Citibank and UOB, 1 dine free with every 3 paying adults.. 12 of us went together but we only pay for 9pax.. the ambience is not bad.. service of the staff is not bad too... quite efficient in filling our drinks n clearing our plates.. food wise, i feel its gd.. the lobster etc all are refilled fast enough n quite a huge variety to choose from too but i stongly recommend their waffle n ice-cream.. the waffle is so yummy.. me alone had 3 pcs.. the choc ice cream is nice n the vanilla ice cream is great too.. 4get to try the strawberry ice cream.. yum yum..

ding dong ding dong.. today my door bell is very busy hehe.. hehe.. in the morning, kevin specially delivered a homemade tiramisu made by his mum for me for my birthday.. this is a surprise planned by him n my sis..

then its the delivery by DHL of the items i ordered online for jayden..

next is the delivery of my surprise birthay cake from darling.. i was still asking the day before " darling, is there any birthday cake for me this year" he din reply me.. so its bcoz he has already ordered a cake for me online from The Patissier with my sis help hehe.. its my fav tiramisu cake.. n its very yummy..

at night we celebrated my birthday with jayden, hubby, my sis, her bf kevin, my bro, steph & melvin at Tung Lok at East Coast Park.. we had their ala-carte dinner buffet and its quite yummy.. kevin helps made reservation and he manage to get us a private room hehe..

2nd - a new LV bag.. my sis went germany 2 weeks ago on biz trip and so she asked if i wanna get anything anot.. so i told her to help me get a new wallet from LV.. wanted to oso get a bag tat i have eyed a long time but no $$.. darling knows i like this bag for a long time already but to get it from SG is quite exp and so he secretly asked my sis to help me buy the bag tat i like and he will give it to me as present for our anniversaries, bday and oso he wanna thanks me for the hardship of having jayden till jayden is born n now to take care of jayden on my own.. hehe..
